No Animal Testing

Here at Paul Mitchell, we’re passionate about beauty from the inside out. This commitment has been at the core of all that we do since we began in 1980. It is why we were the first professional beauty company to publicly stand up against animal testing—and 37 years later, we’ve maintained that pledge to our furry friends.

More and more consumers are learning about the cruelty animals endure in cosmetic and beauty product testing. Many of them know that testing on animals is cruel and unnecessary, and they’re ditching brands that still engage in this ugly practice. So when you’re behind the chair or behind the desk, remember to take a moment to share some fun facts about Paul Mitchell’s cruelty-free pledge. You could turn an occasional client into a lifelong customer!

Here are some interesting conversation starters you can use with your guests:

Did you know that Paul Mitchell was the first professional beauty company to publicly stand up against animal testing? We’ve never tested on animals and we never will.

Paul Mitchell is proud to have always tested on humans inside our very
own Production Innovation Centre where we perfect our products for you.

When we offer shear cases, they’re made from vegan leather! It’s just another way we’re maintaining our cruelty-free pledge to our furry friends.

Paul Mitchell doesn’t carry brushes made from real animal hair. Our brushes—which are made from synthetic materials—are more hygienic since they’re easier to clean and repel bacteria more effectively than animal hair. That’s a win for you and a win for the animals!

And now it will be even easier for you to share our cruelty-free pledge with your guests. Going forward in 2017, we’re featuring a new “No Animal Testing” logo on all of our products to emphasize and highlight our dedication. We want you and your guests to know that by using Paul Mitchell products, you’re making the world a more beautiful place … one fabulous hairstyle—and compassionate purchase—at a time.
